![]() ![]() That was NOT the case with the Floor Store's installation team. Folks, these guys were superb! It has always been my experience in previous years, that I had to watch everything the installers were doing, because the quality of work simply was not there. Wow!The two installers were a Father/Son team. The second thing I did was to compare the sample with the new carpet. Well, the first thing I did when my installers arrived, was to check and see if the carpet I ordered is what the installer brought to my front door. One note: sometimes it is a bit hard to tell from a small sample what the carpet is going to look like on a larger scale, and Tory had said that there may be a bit of color difference because of dye lots. I also spoke to other staff members, including the owner himself, and they were all wonderful.So, I ordered the SHAW carpet of my choice and waited for it to come in, and then on to installation. He answered every question that I could think to ask and gave me answers to things that I didn't think to ask about. From the moment that I walked into The Floor Store, I was treated with the utmost respect. The job that I needed done was not a big job.I wanted new carpet for my stairs, hallway, and four closets. Nightmare!!! Which is why I decided to dump the "Big Box Store" and try something different. The last carpet I purchased was from a "Big Box Store", and it turned out that the company DID NOT install the carpet that I had actually purchased. 3 years ago 7/30/20 Hello! They do not care about you once the money is paid.*************************Editing to add that one of the owners, Randy, did reach out to me after my initial review and offered to pay for the kitchen repair. Glad I spent around 20K here just to be told to spend more of my own money when they damaged my brand new kitchen. I was told to go spend an additional $20 of my own money and fix it myself. After noticing this issue along with a gap, less than a month after the last time the installer came, I reached out to the salesman. The second time the installer came to fix the noise and leveling issue in my kitchen he had to remove the newly installed kickboard. At the same time, I was finishing remodeling my kitchen. They did not level the floors before installation and it's obvious. The installer came back twice to fix the problem but it still is not great. The floors look beautiful but when you walk across them they are mushy and make weird noises. When they came back to do the downstairs it was a different story. ![]() last year The Floor Store first redid my upstairs which turned out great. ![]()
